Learn the basics of modern calligraphy, one of the more accessible forms of decorative brush pen lettering! We’ll use fine and brush tip markers to learn the foundational strokes, and practice letterforms. Throughout the sessions, you’ll learn about the history of the art and exercises to avoid fatigue. By the end of the series, you will be able to confidently write in at least one modern script. Practice between class sessions is highly encouraged to develop the most across the series. Bring to class: One black Pentel Sign Pen Brush, One black Tombow Dual Brush Pen, One Canson XL Marker Pad, and one pencil. Optional: Colored brush pens or colored markers.
