Join us for a fascinating daytime walking tour of Nordhoff Cemetery, where history and mystery come together. We’ll explore the rich history of the cemetery while discussing some of the notable and “famous” figures laid to rest here. Along the way, we’ll take a closer look at the beautiful funerary art, symbolism, and unique epitaphs that tell the personal stories of Ojai’s past. With a touch of the supernatural woven in, this guided walk offers an intriguing glimpse into local legends, unexplained tales, and the deeper meanings behind cemetery traditions. Please meet at the Recreation Department, and we will take a van ride over to the cemetery together. Be prepared to walk as we tour the grounds. Tickets must be purchased in person and must be presented on the day of the tour for entry. All tickets are non-refundable.
