Do you have a brand-new sewing machine or perhaps one you were given or inherited? Would you like to learn how to thread it and wind a bobbin, how to keep it clean, and understand the tension settings, or how a stitch is made? In this class we will cover the basics and even go beyond. Bring your machine, owner’s manual (if you have one), power cord, thread, bobbin/s, scissors, needles, any tools such as screwdriver that came with your machine, and a small cleaning brush, tweezers, small magnifying glass, sewing machine oil, and some cotton or cotton/poly fabric that you don’t mind using for practice. There is a $30 Materials Fee, cash or check only, due to the instructor at the beginning of the class. Limit 10 students.
