Melt away tightness and stress using self-myofascial techniques, yoga shapes and a foam roller to make a big difference in your overall health and wellness. This all-levels class is the perfect addition to any yoga or fitness routine and can help alleviate muscle soreness, support healthy joints, and speed up recovery time with a focus on deep-tissue massage.
Classes are taught by Jen Vail, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Trainer and Certified Pilates Trainer. Jen was most recently the director and founder of YogaFresh in Woodbury, MN from 2007-2023. She has been practicing yoga since 1996 and teaching since 2000. Her classes are accessible for all levels of students to explore the benefits of yoga, barre and Pilates in a safe, fun, and non-judgmental environment.
Jen earned her RYT 500 designation, including additional training and education from a variety of yoga schools and traditions including advanced certifications for Therapeutic Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater in San Francisco, Prenatal Yoga with Blooma in Minneapolis, Barre teaching certificates with both Align Pilates in Minneapolis and Tracy Mallet’s Booty Barre in Chicago and most recently a 500 hour Pilates Reformer certification. Jens teachings are continuously influenced by local and national teachers alike and Jen would be honored to have the privilege of guiding you through a safe and fulfilling practice at the Oakdale Nature Preserve.
