Description
On this "Taste of Milwaukee" tour, we'll travel throughout Milwaukee learning about the history of the city and the different ethnic groups who settled there, picking up tasty treats as we go along the way. Our step-on guide will provide a great overview of the city, focusing on the background of each of the neighborhoods as well as showing us the current revitalization and progress. We'll visit areas such as Walker's Point, the Historic Third Ward, East Town, Old World Third Street, Lincoln Village, Brady Street, and the North Shore. As we travel along, we'll enjoy the culinary treats that define the neighborhood - from chocolate, cheese, cannoli and custard to bakery, beer, bratwurst, and brandy.
Everyone will receive a "goodie" bag and it will be continually filled as we tour the town. We'll also stop for a Polish family-style lunch at Polonez featuring pierogi, potato pancakes, and polish sausage. Bring your appetite for an educational and fun-filled day in Milwaukee!
