*This program is offered through our therapeutic recreation section. Therapeutic recreation offers educational and recreational activities to help individuals with disabilities develop and refresh their minds and bodies in ways that enhance their health, independence and well-being. *

Wanting to enjoy fireworks without the noise can be difficult. That is why we created the Silent Firework Festival. Enjoy a firework show on our movie screen without any noise on the video. The firework video will be played right after sunset with plenty of activities to enjoy before the show. Enjoy glitter tattoos, sensory sand and water tables, Kona Ice, music, and more. Before the event begins at 7 pm, enjoy time with the family at the splash pad and playground. Everyone who is planning to attend will need to register for the event. Parents/guardians will need to stay throughout the event. Caregivers are encouraged to attend in order to provide 1:1 support if needed. This event was created to give participants of all ages the opportunity to enjoy the 4th of July without the loud noises that fireworks can create. A cool off station and water station will be available as well as a sensory tent. We encourage participants and families who attend to bring chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy the firework display video. Event will take place inside the Beulah Recreation Center if there is rain.
