Witches may seem like just another part of Halloween today, but 400 years ago witchcraft was a real and present fear in colonial America. How did colonial people view this sinister phenomenon? How did it manifest itself? Who was accused, and why? In this presentation, we’ll examine real cases of accused witches and explore how they played out. Be careful, you may be surprised by who could turn out to be a “witch.”
