Learn about how the Second World War transformed life in Richmond and pushed many Virginia women to work outside of the home. This program explores how Richmonders responded to the conflict and shares the stories of local women like Mary Cobb, who went to work at Richmond’s Virginia Mechanics Institute during the war.
