Come join our new class and learn the basics of Mahjong!
Mahjong is played by 4 players, who receive, discard and exchange tiles, with the aim of being the first to collect 14 tiles of a certain combination from NMJL card. Mahjong is a fast-paced, exciting game requiring skill and a pinch of luck! It has many similarities to the card game Rummy and Rummikub.
Annually the National Mah Jong League issues a new hands card April 1st. Order yours from nationalmahjonggleague.org. If you do not receive it in time for class, the instructor will have temporary cards available. Please do not order from any online site other than NMJL, as they are not the same and are copyright infringements.
Note: A $2 supply fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of the first class. Sets will be provided by the instructor, but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring it!
