The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. The online portion features award-winning simulation learning – an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting and practice the skills that will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session. Allow approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the online portion. The online course must be completed prior to attending the classroom portion of blended learning.
In addition to completing the online course, participants must schedule classroom time with the instructor to validate that you have learned the needed skills conduct CPR. This in person testing takes roughly 30min and is conducted with Covid-19 safety measures in mind.
After registering for this course, participants will be sent a link to the online class as well as contact information for their CPR instructor.
- Participants must contact their instructor to schedule a time to meet for testing. You should contact your instructor at least 1 week ahead of your preferred testing date.
Participants must wear a mask or face covering while attending the in person classroom portion of this certification.
Additionally, participants must give the instructor proof that they have completed the online course prior to attend the in-person class.
All participants seeking First Aid/CPR/ and AED certification must complete both the online course and in-person testing. Participants who are unable to do both, will not receive certification and will not be issued a refund.
Students who successfully complete both sections of this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
After registering, you will be e mailed a receipt with a class URL for the American Red Cross Online Portion for Blended Learning.
