About this event
Taught by Michele Tilford, ages 14 and up. 5 Tuesdays, September 19 - October 17, 2-3:30pm A combination of an introduction to basic drawing techniques: perspective, shading, composition, and creative narratives. Learning to work from life (still-life & figure) to develop the eye. Learning to see helps in creating a vocabulary that can be used when drawing from life, reference materials or one's imagination. Students will explore different drawing methods, styles and approaches. All levels can be accommodated, we keep the class small so I can focus on each individual's needs. Please bring: 9 X 12 sketchbook (75 lb and up), pencil, eraser and any drawing tools you'd like to try.
