2 Fridays, April 3 - 10, 1:00 - 4:00 pm Mosaic Box Taught by Terry Foreman $91 Member / $100 Non-member Interested in learning the art of glass mosaics? Come and join local artist Terry Foreman to create a medium size (9" x 4" x 3.5") mosaic box using a mix of glass and ceramic tiles. You’ll learn to nip and glue mosaic pieces and make colored grout in this two session class. You may use your nipper and supplies between classes to chip away at more complicated designs at home. All mosaic materials supplied. Students provide: Old dish towel, shoe box size container to bring materials home between classes. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Terry has a BA in Fine Arts and over 35 years experience teaching art to all ages and developing programs in the arts. Her most recent work includes mosaics, sewn felt ornaments, collage and graphic design. She has taught art to K-8 in a private school and has created art classes in community art settings for many years. She founded Art to Go, Camp Imagine and organized or painted several local murals.
