April 10  •  National Lighthouse Museum (Staten Island) Transportation • Subway & Ferry Through our guided tour students will learn about the history and technology of the nation’s lighthouses with a special focus on Optics (how lighthouses projected light) as well as history (what was it like to be a Lighthouse Keeper and how their stations were supplied and kept afloat). After the visit, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch and recreation at a nearby park.
