That raises the question about the potential of Toro wines to challenge neighboring Ribera del Duero and Douro as the leading wine region along the Duero River, or even as a leader regarding Tempranillo-based wines. In this blind tasting Toro wines will prove their mettle against top reds from these areas as well as from Rioja.
