About this event
Verruca vulgaris (warts) is a common dermatologic condition encountered across healthcare settings. This self-paced e-learning module provides healthcare professionals with a practical introduction to the identification, diagnosis, and management of warts. Learners will explore the clinical features of common, plantar, flat, and genital warts; examine underlying causes and risk factors; and differentiate warts from similar skin conditions. Evidence-based treatment options and patient management strategies are also discussed to support confident clinical decision-making. Designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician associates, and other healthcare professionals, this course delivers foundational dermatology knowledge that can be applied directly to patient care. Vanderbilt University School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. To earn continuing education credit, participants must complete the entire module and achieve a score of 80% or higher on the post-quiz. Upon successful completion, learners will be awarded 0.5 ANCC contact hours.
