About this event
Rosacea is a common chronic inflammatory skin condition that can significantly affect patients’ quality of life and is frequently encountered in primary care and dermatology settings. This self-paced e-learning module provides healthcare professionals with a practical introduction to the recognition, diagnosis, and management of rosacea. Learners will explore the key clinical features and subtypes of rosacea, develop skills to differentiate it from other dermatologic conditions with similar presentations, and examine evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to specific disease phenotypes. The course also highlights patient education and long-term management considerations to support optimal outcomes. Designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician associates, and other healthcare professionals, this module builds confidence in assessing and managing patients with rosacea across a variety of clinical settings. Vanderbilt University School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. To earn continuing education credit, participants must complete the entire module and achieve a score of 80% or higher on the post-quiz. Upon successful completion, learners will be awarded 0.5 ANCC contact hours.
