Leo Credit is a semi-retired physical therapist and co-owner of Premier Physical Therapy in Bridgton. Leo is an entrepreneur, who started many businesses including financial coaching through his passion for personal finance and teaching. He is a member of the Financial Therapy Association and the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education. This 6-Session Class will cover the Big Picture, Processing and Spending, Debt Destruction, Margin Mania, Creating Wealth, and a Wrap-Up: 1. Big Picture- A broad introduction into the major areas of personal finance that impact us all. This class touches briefly upon Leo's Laws of Financial Relativity and highlights the areas to be covered in the 6 class program. 2. Process and Spending- Establishing a process for tracking spending and proper budgeting- including low tech, medium tech and higher tech tools. 3. Debt Destruction- Understand debt and the different types of debt while diving into the behavioral factors involved and how it holds someone back on creating wealth. Introduction to three effective debt elimination strategies - debt snowball, debt avalanche and baggage programs and what could work best for you based upon your own situation. 4. Margin Mania - Dovetailing on the budget and debt elimination sessions- Margin Mania addresses the options you now have with the extra money available every month to do some bigger financial wealth building. 5. Creating Wealth - An overview of wealth creation that is possible through equity / security investment, business ownership and real estate. This session touches upon the broad concept of creating and growing assets that many wealthy people invest in through these vehicles. 6. Wrap Up- A review of sessions 1-5. Question and answer session. Participation in 'Margin Mainia' a hands on practical simulation to look at how you would budget based upon different income and expense scenarios- with the goal of creating maximum margin in that budget.
