Join us at Camp Greene Wood for an exciting Spring Outdoor Challenge designed specifically for your Girl Scout and family! Earn one of the four segments of the patch by completing exciting challenges that envelop the essence of springtime. Here's a sneak peek at what awaits: Craft Station: Make a leaf rubbing card to send to a friend, paint with water colors, draw a picture with chalk, and make a wind chime or sun catcher to take home. Games Station: Play with a parachute, kite, hula hoop, or jump rope while you run and have fun. Mindful Station: Enjoy outdoor yoga and identify different cloud shapes. Plus, learn about the water cycle. Snack Station: Make your own s'more over the campfire and learn about erosion with a fun demonstration. Plus, sing a new camp song while you're there. Exploration Station: Take a hike through a butterfly garden and learn about wildflowers, trees, and Leave No Trace along the way. Outdoor Skills Station: Pitch a tent, learn how to be safe in the outdoors, tie a knot, and make a simple first aid kit. Then brainstorm ways to go green. Join us as we embark on this spring adventure together! Let's see how many items you can check off your list before the day is done. Earn the Spring segment of the Outdoor Challenge Patch and make lasting memories in the great outdoors this season! This is a day event and does not include an overnight. A snack is provided as part of this event. This program is designed for families, troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. This is NOT a drop off event.
