TRClassroom powered by CodeCombat Instructor-led, Computer Science Education Program for students in Lower to Upper Primary (Grades 6-12 | Ages 12-18) Game Development 1 This course is designed to introduce students to game design and development through classroom discussions and hands-on programming. Students will learn the specific commands needed to make a game while navigating through the game development levels. This will culminate in a final project in which each student designs and creates their own unique game and collects peer feedback for improvement. Web Development 1 This course is designed to introduce the basics of web development in this introductory HTML & CSS course. Concepts covered: Basic HTML, Basic CSS, Alter existing web pages, Create a sharable web page CodeCombat is an educational coding game that uses real typed code and personalized learning to teach computer science to students with no prior Computer Science experience. With our unique approach, students embrace learning as they play and write code from the very start of their adventure, promoting active learning and a growth mindset.
