TRClassroom powered by Crossfire Instructor-led, Intermediate Robotics Education Program for students in Upper Secondary (Grades 9-12 | Ages 14-18) In Advanced Robotics I, students will explore Arduino microprocessor programming, Python coding, 3D printing, electronics, and DC electrical systems to control motors, servos, and sensors to design, build, program, and fly an aerial drone. Students will apply what they learned in 3D printing, Basic Electronics, and Advanced Circuits class including theoretical knowledge of current, voltage, and digital logic to apply it on an advanced robotics systems project. The Advanced Robotic Systems I class will work collaboratively with the 3D Printing and Design as needed. The project work includes installing motors, servos, sensors, and actuators including the wiring and programming of a 3D-printed aerial drone. There is a $125 student kit fee for this class to purchase the robotics kit, engineering notebooks, and supplies. A student portfolio on the TRC website will be included as part of the registration and will be accessible to the student to share with friends, relatives, and student advisors. No classes on these dates: - 10/6/23 (TRC Fall Break) - 11/24/23 (Thanksgiving) - 12/1/23 (I will be out of town)
