About this event
TRClass powered by FT STEM Instructor-led, Technology Education Program for students in Lower to Upper Secondary (Grades 6-12 | Ages 11-18) Aerospace Engineering Challenge I guides students sequentially through AE lessons/activities, culminating in the student designing and operating an original aircraft design. The Flite Test EZ3 First Flyers are an exciting first step into the world of flight. The FT STEM curriculum will teach students about the basics of flight and lead them to develop a design of their own. The custom-designed foam-board planes can be flown as gliders or combined with our EZ Power Pack for remote-controlled flight. Take to the skies with flight times as long as 10 minutes with a range of over 400ft! Once the students have mastered and flown these amazing aircraft, they will use the included, extra materials to design their own aircraft. Students will have the opportunity to apply design thinking skills through our Engineering Design Model to create and fly their own aircraft using the included blank foam pieces. The Project EZ curriculum is strategically aligned with the ISTE International Society for Technology in Education standards, creating a great opportunity for both the classroom and homeschooling environments. Fly to new heights today with the FT STEM Project EZ BasiX. There is a $50 Student Kit Fee for this class which includes a Project EZ BasiX kit (3 flyable foam airplanes) the students will build, fly and keep. No classes on these dates: - 9/2/23 - 9/4/23 (Labor Day) - 9/30/23 - 10/14/23 (TRC Fall Break) - 12/4/23 (TRC Closed)
