General Activity Description:Celebrate the beauty of summer with our Sunflower Sushi Platter Workshop! August is all about sunflowers, and this class brings that golden, joyful energy straight to your creative table. We will guide you step by step as you learn to use specialty glazes to paint a rustic, radiant sunflower design on an 11.25” square sushi platter. No prior art experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and we’ll take care of the rest. You’ll explore fun glazing techniques, play with color, and watch your platter transform into a stunning handmade piece you’ll be proud to show off.Your finished platter will be kiln fired and ready for pickup within two weeks of class, making it a perfect keepsake or gift.Come for the creativity, stay for the sunshine vibes. 🌻
A $40 material fee is payable to the instructor at class for supplies. Finished pieces may be picked up two weeks after class at Rosehill Community Center
