About this event
The American Heart Association's Basic Life Support clourse is designed for anyone insterested in learning how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. In our AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) course you will learn how to perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, learn the AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components, learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), effective ventilations using a barrier device, importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR, and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants.
