This class is the first in a 3 part series and is for individuals that have a basic level training and experience using handguns but want to get additional training from what is provided through the basic handgun, HQL or most concealed carry classes. This is an actual shooting class! Candidates must to be able to demonstrate a skill level equivalent to Basic Handgun, Concealed Carry training, or work experience. This will be a one day class with 4 hours of classroom and 4 hours of range time. The classroom portion will be conducted in the Mt. Airy location, the range location is TBD at this time. We will be concentrating on: 1. Equipment 2. Grip 3. Stance 4. Drawing from holster 5. Controlling the firearm during shooting 6. Shooting at defensive distance For this class students will need: 1.
