UC/CSU a-g + NCAA + WASC approved. Each term represents a single semester of 5 credits. Both terms must be taken for a full year of 10 credits. This is only the first half of the Biology course. The basic concepts of biology are introduced: cell theory, genetics, evolution, the animal and plant kingdom, ecology and behavior.
