Instructor: Katelynn Pompa Get ready for an immersive week of exploring the fascinating world of human anatomy at Science Camp: The Amazing Human Body! Our expert instructor will guide campers through an interactive program that will teach them about 12 essential organs of the human body in an exciting and engaging way. Each day, campers will dive deep into three different organs and discover how they function and interact with other parts of the body. Through engaging reading materials and hands-on activities, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the human body. -Read About It! Students will complete research using nonfiction reading passages for 12 organs. The reading describes the ways each system works together. -Write About It! Students will record important information from their research for each organ. -Put A Flap On It! Students will cut out each write-up on the life-size organ “flaps” that they have colored, cut, and then attach to their life-sized human body model. -Apply It! Students will apply what they have learned about one of our highlighted organs and participate in a hands-on activity.
