Instructor: Macy Sorensen Unleash your inner performer and join us this summer at Oakwood School’s Musical Theater Camp! Discover the thrill of acting, singing, and dancing onstage as we present a musical adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairytale, The Emperor's New Clothes. With our experienced coaches and an ensemble of talented peers, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and express yourself confidently in a supportive and inclusive environment. At Oakwood School’s Musical Theater Camp, we welcome all levels of experience and encourage our participants to explore their talents and creativity. Over the course of two weeks, campers will embark on a thrilling journey that includes auditions, rehearsals, and lots of fun drama games to keep the energy high and the creativity flowing. Our expert instructors will guide you as you learn song and dance numbers, memorize lines, and master the art of stage performance. On the last day of camp, July 21, campers will have the chance to perform for family and friends on stage in our final musical production. It's the perfect opportunity to showcase all that they have learned and enjoy performing in front of a live audience.
