Our open water clinics are built for beginning and intermediate open water swimmers, triathletes, and curious fitness swimmers looking to enjoy our greatest outdoor resource. There is no combination of swimmers and coaches in Minnesota with more open water and triathlon swimming, coaching, and racing experience, than our seasoned professionals.
Our sessions have been refined over the course of over 100 group open water clinics and camps, openly available in Minnesota since the early 2000s, with Minnesota Tri Club, Minnesota Tri Masters, Total Immersion, and YWCA Minneapolis.

Event details and schedule
For each event location, we are on site 15 minutes in advance, and prepare for our discussions in the following locations:
Lake Nokomis: Meet on shore, on the north side of the beach, near the kayak and paddleboard rentals. Coach Dave is 6'5", bald, and has a reddish beard, and Coach Beth will be with him, wearing a big smile.
Lake Harriet North Beach- Meet on the far West side of the beach
Bde Maka Ska North Beach- Meet on far East side of the beach
Please leave valuables in your car, just bringing swim and change items to the beach, where a staff member will stay with them as we enter the water.
