Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation! Please note that submitting this application does not guarantee placement as a volunteer coach. Coaching assignments are based on program needs, volunteer availability, and successful completion of all required screening and approval processes.
All youth volunteer coaches will register for this program. In addition to registering for this program, they will review and complete the Youth Background Check Policy. Once that is completed, they will be redirected to fill out a background check form online. If you have taken the background check within the year, you are not required to take one. Background checks expire after a year.
