Description

The count is on! Join an environmental educator on the trails of Robious Landing Park and contribute to the citizen science project called the “Great Backyard Bird Count.” Each species of bird that is spotted will be counted and added to the eBird database. Bring your own binoculars and bird identification booklets. Limited pairs of binoculars will be available for use.

• Program is held outdoors.
• Guardians are required to accompany participants, no drop-offs.
• Hiking footwear is required.
• Distance traveled will be between 1 and 3 miles.
• Outdoor surfaces traveled on in this program include gravel and dirt trails with roots, uneven surfaces and steep hills
• This program includes visual and auditory elements
