Monday Coed MUSHBALL (16 in. Softball) League - Recreation Level

This Coed Mushball league is designed for recreation-level teams looking for fun. Games follow a round-robin doubleheader format, with 14 total regular season games played on Monday nights at the Christopher J. Brady Park ballfields

Mushball uses most of the same rules as regular coed softball. The ball used is a softened 16 inch diameter softball. Gloves are not required. Bases are at 60 feet.

At the end of the regular season, all teams will advance to a single-elimination playoff tournament.

League Details:

• Ball used: 16-inch softened ball (mushball)
• Equipment: Gloves are optional
• Bases: 60 feet (normal leagues play on 70 ft)
• Skill Level: Recreation Coed "E"
• Lineup: 10-12 players (8 allowed but not recommended)
• Coed Lineup: must alternate genders (no two men in a row, unless taking an automatic out)
• Home Run Rule: 1 home run per team, per game, followed by the one-up rule
• Game Format: Doubleheaders
• Total Games guaranteed: 14 regular-season games
• Game Nights: Monday
• Game Times: 6:00 & 7:00 PM OR 8:00 & 9:00 PM
• Location: Christopher J. Brady Park Ballfields
• Rules: Follows USA Softball guidelines with some City of Mesa-specific modifications

• All players must be 16 years or older

As the person registering your team, you are designated as the Team Manager and are responsible for ensuring your players know league rules and policies. Please start gathering your teams roster info (Name & email) now. You will be contacted via email at least 10 days before the season starts to input your roster on www.teamsideline.com/mesaaz along with info regarding schedules.

A transfer or refund (minus a $100 non-refundable fee) will be provided up to seven days before the activity begins.
This policy also applies to teams who are removed from the league for registering in a lower or higher division than approved.
No changes are allowed within seven days of the activity’s start date.
