This ARC Lifeguarding blended learning course includes an online portion and in-person skills sessions. Lifeguard training provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illness. The online training link will be sent to participants 7-8 days prior to the first date of class and must be completed prior to the first day of class. Certification is NOT guaranteed. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certification for ARC Lifeguarding/First Aid/ CPR/AED valid for two years.
