Set yourself up for success with our Middle School Success Camp, designed for rising 7th and 8th graders who want to strengthen skills and build confidence before the school year begins. This camp focuses on sharpening writing skills, including developing strong paragraphs, organizing essays, using evidence effectively, and improving clarity and grammar. In math, students will review and practice key concepts such as ratios, proportions, equations, integers, and multi-step problem-solving—skills essential for success in upper middle school math. Campers will also learn essential organization and study strategies, including managing assignments, keeping binders and digital materials organized, planning ahead for long-term projects, and developing effective study habits. Through engaging activities and guided practice, students will gain tools to work more independently and confidently. By the end of camp, students will feel better prepared to handle increased academic expectations, stay organized, and approach the school year with a strong sense of readiness.
