Description

The course prepares participants to be lifeguards and learn the skills to perform lifesaving pre-hospital care.
Participants must be at least 15 years of age, pass a swimming pretest and must complete the online learning portion of the class.
Call the Aquatic Center to schedule a swimming pre-test before registration. The swimming pretest consists of: 50 yard swim with head up, 50 yard swim with a rescue tube, 1 minute tread with feet only, and a 10 lb brick retrieval from the deep end of the pool.
*McMinnville Aquatic Center maintains digital records of certifications. Copies of certifications for other employment may be retrieved for a fee.
