Description

Bridge Coaching – Standard American Bridge. This supervised bridge play session is suitable for those who have either taken Bridge I and Bridge II and feel ready to practice playing, or for those who are able to play Bridge but would like to brush up on their knowledge. This is designed for beginner or rusty bridge players to gain confidence to play socially. There is no formal instruction for this course; players will play bridge with an instructor present and available to provide feedback, answer questions, and give insight into strategy. Cards and score cards provided.Note that this session occurs during the timeframe previously allocated to Tuesday evening drop-in bridge. Those who desire to play evening drop-in bridge are welcome to play from 9-10 pm after the session finishes or to sign up for this coaching session! MCC also hosts free drop-in bridge on Friday evenings from 7-10 pm. Other bridge times include the Seniors in Action drop-in bridge (Thursdays from 10 am – 12 pm) and the Open Game Nights (to include Mah-Jongg, Bridge, table tennis, etc) at the Old Firehouse Center (Wednesdays 6:30-9 pm).Instructor: Steven Rothman $48/$40 district residents
