About this event
Algebra II Honors (Year Long/ 1 course) This course examines real and complex number systems. Students will continue to use their Algebra I skills for a more in-depth study of linear and polynomial equations, inequalities, sequences, series, probability, and statistics. Students also will study rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Algebraic and graphic solutions are emphasized throughout the course. Questions that will guide learning throughout the year include: How can we use functions to model real-world situations? How are the solutions of an equation related to the graph of its associated function? What means can be used to solve equations of various functions? Prerequisites: Students must successfully complete Algebra 1, Geometry Honors and teacher recommendation (you must get your current math teachers recommendation for this course) Advancement: Students will be placed in the next sequential NBPS Math course with successful completion of this course. This course meets an NBPS Graduation Requirement. The grade is included in the NBPS GPA.
