or affectionately M2M, is celebrating it’s 23 year anniversary October 24, 2026
A Boston Marathon qualifier!
This is the biggest event this little town of 420 people puts on and the whole town comes out to support the racers. Over the years, 40 states and 11 countries have been represented at M2M. It has become a national and international bucket list race. 100% of all the proceeds provide much needed funds to our organizations in Marathon. “It is SO much more than just a race” is how our racers describe M2M. The Awards Party at 1:15 is not to be missed…our belt buckles awards are coveted by the racers.
“The hardest part is getting there!” as we are in the desert 40 miles from the entrance to Big Bend National Park. Around 500 racers run a marathon, half marathon, 10k or 5k. If you cannot complete a marathon in six hours, you will be taken off the course…. The course closes at 1:30 and we can’t leave you alone out there. Shirt and medal for everyone who crosses the finish line for registrations by September 1. Pasta dinner and BBQ lunch available for purchase.
