About this event
Dig, Plant, Observe & Harvest - The Green Roof Gardening Squad is back! Students will grow flowers and veggies, beautify their playground, and have fun, all the while absorbing the therapeutic benefits of close contact with nature. In the rooftop greenhouse and wildflower garden, we will explore plants at different stages of life and discuss concepts ranging from food source, to sustainability and biodiversity. After harvest, the students will get a kick out of tasting their produce and maybe even sharing it with friends at lunchtime! Instructors: Mari Moroi Damon & Rachel Daykin
