Description

A huge variety of glaze application techniques will be

demonstrated. This workshop introduces techniques at

the bisqueware stage. Ideas for how to make your pottery

standout beyond the typical dip and dunk glazing technique

and open doors to truly original decoration. Bisqueware

pieces will be provided for student use during the workshop.

Underglaze application with tape resist. Oxide wash and

stains demo on bisque ware. Wax resist techniques: wax

applied over a glaze, wax resist layering to carve through

and apply stains, properly glazing a lidded jar.
