Working from carefully arranged objects, students will learn to observe and capture form, proportion, light, shadow, color, and composition while exploring the rich qualities of oil paint. Instruction will cover essential painting techniques, brush handling, color mixing, and layering, with individualized guidance provided throughout the course. Whether you are new to oil painting or looking to strengthen your foundational skills, this class offers a welcoming and supportive environment for artists of all experience levels.
