In this class, we will explore questions related to our relationship with aging through the lens of mindfulness. What practices and new research findings can support continued growth and transformation at all stages of life? What best supports our ability to step into the inevitable challenges brought about simply by living and aging? We will explore mindfulness practices including deep listening, gentle movement, and guided sitting meditations. In addition, we will investigate new research offering insights into the science of happiness and joy across the lifespan. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on how this exploration impacts their day-to-day life and relationships. Prior meditation experience is preferred but not essential. All ages and past participants are welcome. The classroom is accessible, and audio support is available.
