Description

Learn how to sew a lined tote bag in this beginner friendly class. Skills that will be covered include making folded tote straps, patch pockets, boxed corners, and sewing in a lining. The class will cover basic concepts like turned hems, backstitching, basting and topstitching. Leave the same day with a finished tote bag!
NOTE: Sewing machines and tools will be provided; bring your own fabric. Fabric requirements are: 1 yard canvas or duck cloth for outside body, 1/2 yard quilting cotton for lining, and matching all purpose thread (optional).
