Session 1: Heart Health through Nutrition by Addition with Registered Dietitians Emma Gellerstedt & Mariana Gandolfo, & Chef Taylor Johnson
About 44% of women are living with some form of heart disease. A strong heart helps you show up for everything you love - fueling it with proper nutrition is key to your success. Learn how to boost heart health by adding protein, fiber, healthy fats, and soy to your diet. We'll focus on simple breakfast and snack recipes to support long-term wellness.
All ages are welcome. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Demonstrated recipes for tasting include:
- Savory Sunrise Scramble: Start the day with this veggie-packed tofu scramble, perfect for both quick breakfasts and leisurely brunches.
- Protein-Packed Energy Bites: These make-ahead bites will provide an on-the-go healthy and satisfying snack.
- Decadent Chocolate-Raspberry Chia Pudding: Add a heart-healthy breakfast/snack/dessert recipe to your collection just in time for Valentine's Day.
