The UW Health Learning Kitchen at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI has cooking classes for all skill levels!
Cooking class details:
Grab a partner, loved one, or friend and join us for a Lunar New Year dumpling party cooking class! The 2026 Lunar New Year festival kicks off in February, so let's get together to make dumplings! We will be making recipes to start the Year of the Fire Horse in delicious style.
We will be making:

• Mandarin Orange Sparkler Mocktail: Enjoy a nonalcoholic celebratory mocktail to keep you hydrated while cooking.
• Homemade Steamed Pork & Cabbage Dumplings: Learn how to make your own steamed dumplings filled with a juicy pork filling. A vegetarian option is available upon request - during registration, please note in the dietary restrictions box that you need a vegetarian option.
• Fast and Flavorful Countryside Veggie Stir Fry: This makes a perfect side for the dumplings, full of crunchy veggies!
• Decadent Coconut Glutinous Rice Dessert: Finish the meal with this sweet and sticky treat made from glutinous rice flour that gives this classic dessert its chewy texture.

Cost: The cost is for one couple or two people cooking together. One person in the pair must register for the event.

Register by Tuesday, February 17th.
