The UW Health Learning Kitchen at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI has cooking classes for all skill levels!
Cooking class detail:
Looking for quick, weeknight meal solutions? Join Registered Dietitian Mackenzie Burke for a hands-on crock pot class sure to warm up the winter months.
Attendees will fill their own crock pots, and The Learning Kitchen team members will monitor until you are ready to take it home. Crock pots must be picked up before 4:30pm. Please note that you must be present to prepare the meal - we will not be offering a drop off option. For those who need to borrow one of our crock pots, these need to be promptly returned to The Learning Kitchen.


What We'll Be Cooking:

• Slow Cooker Curried Sweet Potato Stew: Learn how to make a fast and creamy crock pot stew packed with flavors of peanut butter, red curry paste, sweet potatoes, spinach, and coconut milk.

During the cooking class you will make 4 servings of stew!
