Step into a world of heroes, beasts, and magic! In this hands-on camp, students will explore the ancient art of shadow puppetry to bring the world’s greatest Myths and Legends to life. We will look at how cultures—from Ancient Greece to Indonesia—have used shadows to tell epic tales for centuries. Campers will become puppet engineers, designing and building articulated puppets of dragons, gods, and mythological creatures using cardstock and light gels. The week culminates in a "Legendary Showcase," where campers will perform their illuminated tales for a live audience.
