Each segment is aimed at strengthening chess fundamentals and ChessLife Strategies™, our life-skills component to developing young minds. Register for the next segment and receive four bonus online Battle of the Minds Tournaments, held Sundays from 2:30–3:30 PM. DEVELOPING LIFE MASTERS Chess Tutors teaches students to make sound decisions on and beyond the chessboard. Our aim is to develop Life Masters—more so than Chess Masters—through chess instruction, call-and-response, songs, stories, and motivational activities that make learning memorable and enjoyable. Our programs aim is to strengthens critical thinking, analytical and abstract reasoning, planning, problem-solving, and the ability to weigh multiple considerations. It also aims to develops a teamwork mantality, consensus-based decision-making, self-control, patience, turn-taking, sportsmanship, emotional balance, and the ability to handle both victory and defeat with character—all while ensuring chess makes the best first impression.
