First destination: Hilmar Cheese Co.2nd stop: Sciabica's Olive Oil Co. - 10% off shopping
We start out our day with a "Behind The Scenes" Motorcoach Tour - only available to motorcoach guests!Our tour guide boards the coach to narrate along the 15-minute drive through the world’s largest cheese and whey manufacturing facility, in Hilmar California.
Next, disembark to enjoy free cheese tasting and Culinary Agri-tourism at its best! Learn how cheese is made then enjoy a catered seated meal featuring a sandwich buffet complete with homemade Cheese Chowder Soup, fresh green salad and famous Cream Cheese Brownie or Cheese Pie (better than any cheesecake!). Water, iced tea, Peet's coffee included!
After lunch, explore the exhibits and watch through the viewing windows as employees package the "Big Cheese" - a 640 lb. block of cheese. Then on to your ice cream making class to make your own cup of ice cream to enjoy, and finish your tour with short MOOvie in the Cheese Theatre and shopping time in the gift shop.
All aboard the coach again for a stop and shop at Sciabica's Olive Oil Co!!Taste and shop for your favorite Sciabica products!10% discount for shoppers on the bus!
