Take your rifle skills to the next level in Junior Rifle 2 a hands-on course designed for students who have completed basic rifle instruction and are ready to continue developing safe, consistent, and accurate shooting techniques.
This class builds on fundamental marksmanship skills while introducing more advanced concepts used by experienced shooters. Students will strengthen their understanding of natural point of aim (NPOA), learn how equipment and ammunition affect performance, and explore the relationship between point of aim and point of impact. Through classroom instruction and live-fire practice, participants will continue developing the skills needed to become more confident and capable rifle shooters.
Whether you are working toward improved accuracy, learning more about your rifle, or looking to continue your shooting journey, Junior Rifle 2 provides a supportive environment to sharpen your skills and have fun on the range.
What to Expect:
• Continued focus on firearm safety and responsible handling
• Advanced instruction on natural point of aim (NPOA) and shooting fundamentals
• Introduction to minute of angle (MOA), ballistics, and sight adjustments
• Understanding rifle types, ammunition, and basic troubleshooting
• Live-fire range practice focused on improving consistency and accuracy
• Instruction on standing shooting position fundamentals
Ages: 10 and over.
$60/student for 4-week class
Prerequisite: Completion of Junior Rifle or equivalent beginner rifle instruction
Equipment: All equipment provided. Personal hearing and eye protection are acceptable to bring. Personal .22LR rifles will require instructor approval.
