All league age players that are 6 or 7 will play in the rookie division.  If your child is 8 years old there is a chance that they will play in the minor division which is kid pitch.  Players that are moved up will be based off of their abilities from the previous year and player evaluations.  Also 8 years only will move up if there is a need in the minor league division to help fill out spots on those teams.  Do not request for your player to move up or stay down.
